I'm Stephen Decatur — the filmmaker behind LTR Films. Every film on this site was shot, cut, and obsessed over by me.
"Leave The Resort" started as a rule I gave myself — skip the swim-up bar, get out to where the place is actually alive. It turned into how I film everything: chase the light and the honest moments, not a shot list.
That's why the vow that cracks mid-sentence makes my cut. Why an Airbnb film starts with how the light comes through the kitchen at golden hour. Why the content I shoot at an event feels like being there instead of watching an ad.
I'm based in New York City and I'll go wherever the story goes — the Hudson Valley, the Poconos, or a cliffside in Ravello, Italy. That's not a slogan. It's the whole point of the name.
